Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Review
The 3-Minute Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus Review
The Tea-Break Review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus

Features & Design: 4/5 ● Performance: 5/5 ● Value: 4/5 ● Battery Life 5/5
The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus definitely has the stuff that flagships are made of. For starters, there is a baseline 256GB of storage, which you can upgrade to 512GB. There is also a hefty 12GB of RAM. The 5G version is exactly like whatever is below it, likely giving it slightly shorter life per charge.
The 6.8” AMOLED screen is a bold 1440 x 3040 pixels of Corning Gorilla Glass. That said, the Note 10 Plus ships with a 4,300 mAh battery. This easily carries for at least a full twenty-four hours depending on the beating you give it.
The Galaxy Note 10 Plus storage is expandable via a microSD card slot that can hold 1TB.
Samsung ensured they have not merely upgraded the Note 10 variant as almost all other flagships have this year. The US-spec Note 10 Plus retains the same Snapdragon 855. Some international versions may, however retain one of Samsung’s powerful Exynos chips instead.
This powerhouse is combined with a 12GB RAM and a Qualcomm Adreno 640 GPU. This guarantees the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is a rocket. Well, it has to be if it’s to compete as a flagship.
The smart assistant has not proved to be all its hyped up to be. This might be due to its late appearance in the game compared with Siri, Assistant, and Alexa. It’s really lacking on the capability side, even at launch. Samsung is investing heavily to woo developers, but the effects of that remain to be seen. Most users still prefer the assistant to become a more natural influence than to be thrust upon them.
Is it for you?
If you are a camera buff, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is definitely worth investing in. The great detail in features for photos and videos makes it a no-brainer. If you also like to experiment with augmented reality, the AR Doodle feature will likely impress you. It’s still in its early days, but it looks like it’s coming up nicely.
What we like
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus presents the main camera collective that is easily one of the best in the business. Including ultra-wide and telephoto lenses expand the range of possible shots almost infinitely. The hardware also has machine learning capacity that means you really have to try to take a bad shot (still not impossible).
The Live Focus feature is now available on video, with four separate filters, Color Print included. Color Print keeps the subject black and white, while everything else intact.
An easy-to-use video editor can edit clip length, toss in other clips, add captions, subtitles, music, and filters. It’s one justifiable use for the S-pen.
What we don’t like
The ergonomics seem a bit worrying unless you’re a big phone lover. Even people with big hands have found it a bit unwieldy to use. Part of your hand will frequently sit on the screen, causing your touch input to exhibit funny behaviors. That’s because the touch-sensitive screen curves a little further than in prior devices.
The Galaxy Note 10 Plus now has all physical controls on the left side. This is counter-intuitive if you’re coming from smartphones from other brands, meaning you might reach for the power button where you expect it to be.
Should you buy it?
We definitely recommend buying the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. The camera, display, and battery are definitely top-notch.
