Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Review
The 3-Minute Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Review
Features & Design: 4/5 | Performance: 3.5/5 | Value: 4/5 | Battery Life: 5/5
Fitness freaks always consider the Battery’s extended life of smartwatches as this has been an issue for them. Garmin’s Fenix 6 is known for its endurance, and a fitness watch, which virtually never requires recharging. If you go on epic adventures far beyond range, this feature can make this worth it. However, we’d also like you to take interest and try out other features as what good a watch with only extended battery life if you can’t do astounding things with it?
Runners who would like to make sure that they are properly pacing themselves during a race can now use the new PacePro feature offered by this Garmin Fenix 6. After making a plan (whether on the watch or Garmin app), they can keep tabs on their target pace, and check if they are behind or ahead on the pace they have set for themselves.
The only drawback in this edition is that the Fenix’ display looks a bit pixelated than the AMOLED and LCD screens.
Is it for you?
The Fenix 6 key attribute is the extended battery built into it. With it, Garmin approximates you can get some extra hours — on top of the battery’s recommended hours if you’re using it in the normal GPS mode. However, mind you, if you are using GPS in the expedition mode, then it’s not going to last as much longer as you would expect.
What we like:
The thing we appreciate is that it comes in two models; Pro and Sapphire. Pro one contains the music, Wi-fi, and maps. While the Sapphire comprises of the Sapphire Crystals as well as Titanium, Nylon Quickfit, Diamond-like carbon, and leather/suede.
Moreover, your life with the new Fenix 6 seems epic; they offer an all-new power manager that is customizable to a user’s needs and let you see how each of the watch’s features and sensors affect the battery life. In addition, power-saving modes can easily be adjusted on the fly.
What we don’t like:
The Garmin Fenix 6 is without a shred of doubt one of the finest multi-sport smartwatches you can buy, which brings both performance and adventure tracks. In addition, a GPS-based mapping to each outdoor activity you can imagine. However, there is a downside that it comes at a price tag that would put most persons off.
Should you buy it?
The Garmin Fenix 6, a new multi-sport smartwatch performs splendidly in your hands-on review, however, the design could still be improved. If you are looking for the best features on the super expensive model, this one is for you. In addition, it offers variety of band colors and cases.
Basically, the Garmin Fenix 6 does not vary massively from its counterpart. It embraces the same mapping tools, sports tracking, and the same smartwatch features you could find on the Fenix 5 Plus. While comparing it with its predecessor, the Fenix 6 comes in an overwhelming myriad of very similar variances, each of that targeted for different types of users.
