The Garmin Fenix 5 Plus is a premium smartwatch that features GPS and multi-sport options. Fit for all adventures, the 5 Plus is crafted from durable premium-grade material including stainless steel PVD-coated and DLC titanium bezel and buttons. One drawback that has been noticed in Garmin Fenix 5 Plus is the battery life. Garmin claims that 5 plus offers 18 hours battery life with GPS, 8 hours when using music and GPS and the Ultratrac mode give 42 hours battery timings. After workouts with music streaming, the battery drains a lot quicker. Also, the Fenix 5 Plus price ranges from £599 to 999 which people find way too costly for a smartwatch.
Is it for you?

What we like:
The built-in navigation and with TOPO colorful mapping provides the best location tracking. Fenix 5 plus features Trendline popularity routing that is useful for cyclists and runners to locate best trails. In addition, this amazing sports watch tracks your heart rate using the wrist heart rate technology with no chest strap needed. It also monitors your sleep, calories and counts the steps.
Acting as a fitness band, this watch also lets the user save up to 500 songs for listening during the workout session. Furthermore, it is water-proof to 10ATM and that is really good news for all water sports lovers.
What we don’t like:
There is no touchscreen to control the settings which is a feature of advanced smartwatches. Fenix 5 plus is managed by 5 responsive side buttons. The price of Fenix is not at all budget-friendly. There is no map swiping option as well in TOPO navigation. The NFC payments feature is neither very successful not it is easy to use.
