Acer T232HL Review
Acer's T232HL is a 23”, touch screen LCD screen with a resolution of 1920x1080. It utilizes environmentally responsive LED backlighting and a premium IPS board for broad viewing angles.
The T232HL seems more like a sophisticated HDTV than a desktop screen. A single sheet of shiny edge-to-edge glass with no raised bezels covers the 1,920x1, 080 IPS board, a motif that is both fashionable and useful as it makes for simple swiping and gesture control. The reflective glass can be disturbing when the display's background is dark, nevertheless.
Under the glass, a 1.25” glossy black edge frames the monitor, and there is a 2.4” high band of colored plastic trim connected to the base edge of the screen to offer it some stature. The portrait casing-type stand is done up in a shiny metallic finish and can be folded while not in use. In applying force to the high corners of the board you can slant the monitor backwards to an angle of 60 degrees or as less as 8 degrees. There’re 4 VESA-compliant openings at the back of the cupboard for fixing the T232HL in a booth or on a wall.
There’re six thin switches embedded in the right part of the sideboard that are utilized to power up the screen and change settings. Pressing any key (except the power button) starts on screen labeling for every button. They consist of input, menu, auto (auto-adjust), "e" empowering technology keys, and volume. Acer's empowering technology is in fact an assortment of picture presets counting standard, graphics, and ECO, user modes, and movie.
You can change individual settings in the image menu but modifications are restricted to contrast, brightness, and color temperature. If you are utilizing an analog pointer you can change vertical and horizontal position, clock, focus, and or allow the auto change attribute complete it for you.
There’re 4 high-speed USB 3.0 ports: 3 fitted to the left part of the cabinet and one port on the rear. Putting the downstream ports sideways makes it uncomplicated to connect peripherals devoid of having to grope around behind the cupboard. HDMI, VGA and DVI inputs are at the back, like the audio input for the fitted speakers. The speakers are noisy but sharp; they sound better while played at half volume since they have a tendency to disfigure once driven to the max. It however lacks a microphone and webcam.
The T232HL performs perfectly as a touch-screen screen. Zooming, rotating, and pinching images is easy and precise. Entering text by means of the on-screen keyboard is as well a breeze.
IPS panels in general bring rich, robust colors and outstanding watching angles, and the T232HL doesn’t upset.
If you would like to enjoy Windows 8, the Acer T232HL monitor can assist. Its bezel-free design and ten-point touch-screen technology offer a receptive, free image for steering Window’s 8 interactive client interface, and it presents the rich shades and wide screening angles that IPS boards are well-known for. The addition of USB 3.0 is a plus.
