No, Shopbot does not sell any products to customers. We simply connect you to the online retailers offering the products for sale. For any specific questions regarding the product, payment, or delivery, please contact the individual retailers.

Shopbot is a comparison shopping engine; it helps you to shop online by comparing prices on products you are looking for. Because there are so many retailers online, it can be hard to find what you want at a good price. Shopbot does this for you, searching through the internet and finding you the best deals available. You can then compare them side-by-side and get a bargain. It’s like having your own personal shopping assistant, searching the net for the best products at the lowest prices.

You can search for a product on Shopbot by typing a keyword in our search engine and clicking “Search”. Shopbot will then display a list of products ranked by relevance. To see the different retailers who stock the item and to compare prices, click “Compare prices for this product”. You will then be given a list of retailers with the product, ranked by price. Whenever possible, availability will also be indicated next to the price. You can also limit your results to the state you are in by choosing your state in the drop-down menu marked “State...”. To purchase an item, click on the retailer or the “Buy it!” button.

Alternatively, you can also browse through the product categories on the front page to find what you are looking for. We offer suggestions on popular products and sub-categories to help you refine your search. Once you find a product you are interested in, click on the item’s name to compare prices from a list of merchants. Click the vendor’s name or the “Buy It!” button to purchase the item.

Check to see if the spelling that you entered is correct. You can try checking the manufacturer’s website, as the model may be sold under different names in different countries. If you cannot find the product through searching, try the browse function; you may find a product that is similar to the one you are looking for. If you are getting too many results, you can refine your search by adding more specific keywords, such as “iPod video black 60 gigabytes” rather than simply “iPod video”. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, the product may be unavailable or out of stock for the time being; you may be able to try again at a later date when it becomes available.

Availability, when known, is indicated in the search results. Merchants provide us with information about their products, which includes product availability, and we regularly update our database to ensure that this information is accurate. Shopbot is free to use for customers; we want to help you to find the best deal. You do not have to subscribe to use it, and you don’t have to pay any additional fees if you decide to purchase a product. Once you have found the product you are looking for through Shopbot, you simply continue onto the merchant’s website to finalise your purchase.

As we do not directly sell the products listed on our website, we cannot provide information regarding postage costs. Postage and handling are managed by individual vendors; please consult them if you have any questions regarding delivery. You may be able to reduce costs by restricting results to your state only, and some vendors may offer postage discounts for multiple purchases.

We make sure that our merchant partners accept payment in Australian dollars and deliver to Australian addresses. Most of our merchant partners are based in Australia, however some may be based overseas, and many order their stock from overseas. You can make sure your payment arrives quickly by checking availability and ordering from retailers located in your state.

Unfortunately, as we do not sell the products listed on our website, we are unable to assist you if you encounter any problems regarding payment, delivery or the product itself. If you do come across any difficulties, please contact the merchant from whom you purchased the product, who will be able to assist you with any problems that you may have. Yes, if you perform a keyword search for a product, we will automatically rank the results of your search by relevance. You can also choose to rank your search by price, as well as select a price range. If you are browsing, you can choose to list the results alphabetically, by price, or by popularity. When you click to compare prices, you can also choose to see only the items available in your state.
