Poor Performance - 06/27/2007 By AnonymI bought this item new. Even with the latest firmware it is a dog. It locks up frequently and requires a cold restart, the wireless cuts in and out, and has a VERY ordinary interface. You can't leave downloading files, as it will drop out after 5 minutes. It will become a paperweight on my desk as soon as I can afford a replacement. A different brand this time! Not bad - 03/16/2008 By Anonymmine seem to not drop out much at all, wireless works up to 20 mtrs in my house ok, dlink are making better stuff these days, but not as good as linksys or netcom No problems - 02/27/2008 By AnonymI've had mine running for nearly 2 years now and haven't had a problem. Network setup was a cinch, it runs XBox Live flawlessly, has a simple browser interface (including setup wizard) and I can leave it downloading for days without any problems. I've had to reset the unit twice in as many years and both times were an ISP issue, not the modem. Highly recommended. DLink 604T - 08/05/2008 By AnonymEasy to use and configure. However every now and again it will lose its configuration and the connection to the internet. A reload of the config file is then necessary. never again - 02/02/2008 By Anonymwireless signal is very poor, even with the firmware updates it stops downloading things at random. I've had to resort to plugging in all the time as the wireless so unreliable. This was the first time i've had any d-link equipment and after this i think i'll go back to trusty netgear. | |||||||||
