The Sony Alpha NEX-5N Kit with 16mm & 18-55mm kit lenses is slim, light and compact. It is small enough to carry with you everywhere. It includes 16.1 effective megapixels with a very high resolution Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor which captures superb quality, with low noise images and allows DSLR-style background defocus. There is a BIONZ processor that has a powerful image processing which ensures clear, detailed, low-noise images and quick response shooting. It has an E-mount interchangeable lens system wherein you can choose the ideal lens to suit shooting conditions just like a DSLR camera. You can have a full HD movie with manual exposure control. All you have to do is touch a button and record detail-packed AVCHD video with stereo sound. You can even have 25p/50p progressive shooting for smooth, cinematic footage.
This NEX-5N kit is beautifully easy to use. The easy-to-use new ‘Photo Creativity’ touch screen interface lets you adjust camera settings and even create exciting picture effects with no PC needed. There is a Precision Digital Zoom that gets closer to the action with smooth and high quality magnification of central portion of image from 1.1x up to 10x. It has an intelligent AUTO which automatically recognizes common shooting situations, adjusting camera settings for beautiful results. It has a wide sensitivity range from ISO 100-25600 which is considered a very high maximum sensitivity which allows natural, low-noise images even when shooting handheld in low light.
Another thing that people can enjoy with the NEX-5n kit is the lens optical image stabilization during handheld (with compatible lenses). There is an object tracking in the NEX-5N kit that keeps accurate focus lock on the selected object even while it’s moving in the frame. There’s a Sweep Panorama with 3D Sweep Panorama. Just press the shutter and sweep the camera to capture extra-wide panoramic images. Another feature is a Face Detection and Face Registration which recognizes up to 8 faces in a scene, optimizing optimum exposure, white balance, flash and other settings for beautiful portraits. Moreover, there is a Picture Effect Modes that produces impressive creative effects with no PC needed including Poster size and Soft Focus Miniature.
