The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 3G is one of Samsung’s first Android 4.0 (Ice Cream) powered tablets. Since its OS is Android 4.0, the user has an unlimited access to Samsung’s Hub services namely Samsung Music Hub, Reader Hub, Video Hub, and Game Hub. Music Hub alone allows users access to its over 17 million tracks. The Reader Hub contains a mind boggling number of eBooks at 2.3 million, magazines at 3,500 and newspapers at over 2,000. Not only that, it has Game and Video Hub services (over 1,000 film titles) for easier and much entertaining content selection. The praise-worthy communication capabilities of Galaxy Tab 2 cannot be missed. It can be used just like any other phone as it acts as a second handy device for everyone. It doesn’t only allow users to send messages via instant messaging and group chatting through its ChatON interface (which connects all phone users to a single community through their phone numbers), but it also allows multi-party video calling via Google Plus Hangouts wherein users can also share contents with each other. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is also available in WiFi connectivity, which is approximately £70 cheaper than its 3G version. But then again, if we’re talking about sleekness and multitasking performance, the tablet in 3G is the best choice. The WiFi enabled tablets are enough for those who own 2 to 3 tablets already; who are still used to working at their personal computers; and who do not plan to surf the internet while shopping, while waiting for someone, or while riding a train. But, you should buy Galaxy 2 in 3G if you can afford it because it is worth the pay. But if you cannot afford it, the WiFi version works just the same as how a Samsung Galaxy Tab with Android 4.0 OS is expected to perform. On navigation, Samsung Galaxy responds very well, though some prefer to use a stylus when navigating it just because they feel like using it. Others use a stylus because they are having a hard time hitting letters on the on-screen keyboard because of their large hands. You be the judge. Another thing, this tablet is obviously cheaper than its famous competition, iPad. Its memory size is 16GB (and of course, expandable to 32GB). Its RAM is 1GB and has an additional SD card slot unlike Nexus. The web pages load fast and flawlessly. The color and screen resolution is crystal clear at 1024 x 600. It has 3MP rear and VGA front cameras for video calling. It weighs a little bit more than iPad at 345 g. Its battery life is phenomenal since it doesn’t take long to charge. You can just charge it overnight and it will be ready for use the rest of the next day. Why users got hooked to Samsung Galaxy Tab is because it allows users to set their preferences, unlike the other tablets that dictates how you should do things. IPad does not allow their users to navigate Amazon.com. While, Samsung Galaxy tabs allows Amazon.com unlimited accessibility to its users. Some Samsung Galaxy Tab users even opted to bring their galaxy tabs at work instead of their laptops. It is a solid multi-tasking kit and can be used anytime, anywhere.
