Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III 16GB has been marketed with a straightforward premise: “Inspired by nature, designed for humans”. How does this Samsung smartphone fares against strong competition such as Apple's iPhone? Find out in our review below.

The South Korean electronics maker created this third version of their popular Galaxy S series and boy does this phone does wonders. The battle of smartphones has intensified with the arrival of the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III 16GB. It is loaded with features, from hardware to software, that will even make naysayers and non Samsung users take a second look at this beauty. From the outside, the Galaxy S III is huge because it sports a large AMOLED HD display at 4.8” that really attracts and really is touch sensitive. It also operates on the latest Android OS, the Ice Cream 4.0, an Exynos quad core processor, a less reflective Gorilla Glass 2 for the screen, an 8 megapixel camera at the back, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, 4G and HSPA support and what you got is a very impressive phone.

The looks of the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III 16GB is not the only thing impressive but also its features that are cutting edge and unique to the series like an eye tracking feature called Smart Stay, Siri’s nemesis, S Voice, Smart Alert, S Beam, AllShare Play, AllShare Cast, Pop up Play are among the many features of this full packed device.

Using the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III is a joy to use as it is smooth, fast and surprisingly comfortable despite its large design. Icons are large enough to see and organized. Colors pop out more and in a more vibrant way. The I9300 is also a lightweight kind of phone that may surprise you because again of its size. Contours along the edges of the phone are rounded and it gives the phone a much more smooth and clean look. And even with its size, you can still fit the smartphone in your pocket (front, back, sides or wherever you are comfortable placing your phone) or bag. The Samsung Galaxy S III is responsive, fast and its screen doesn't glare you at all.

Everything you do with the Galaxy S III turns out to be a smooth, solid experience. You've seen it on ads and heard about it that you can transfer and share files to another by just tapping the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III 16GB together with another similar unit. Well, that aspect is really true and it really works. It is called the S Beam and is designed to help share large files like music tracks, photos, videos and documents just by tapping two devices together. This is not really groundbreaking but it is unusual, unique, cool and is working flawlessly.

If there is one thing bad about the Samsung Galaxy S III, is the S Voice. This is Samsung’s answer to the popular Siri from Apple. It works similar to Siri as it is your own personal assistant in a more personal format. And it falls flat as it is a hit and miss when being commanded to do something. All in all, the Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III 16GB is really a smartphone that is designed for today’s humans to use.

Well, Galaxy SIII looks more open, and has a bigger screen than iPhone 5... I'm picking this smartphone for three main reasons: - screen size (bigger) - android (more open) - and of course: Price
