Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 has a large screen, higher resolution and more mileage out of the battery makes them well-matched for certain tasks. That’s why there are certain people that are not fascinated by them but end up needing one.
The only difference is the need to carry two devices all the time, especially when one of them won’t fit into any pocket. It aims to squeeze the highness screen and battery longevity of a tablet into a package that is still pocket-fit but it’s not guaranteed. There are not many smartphones around that can give an inferiority complex in the Galaxy S II but the Galaxy Note does a pretty good job. The Exynost chipset’s got a faster CPU, the AMOLED screen has a million pixels and most significantly there’s more of it.
Even the extremely power-hungry Android will have a hard time pushing through the 2500 mAh battery in a day which is what many modern-day smartphones will do more often than not, once its conversation time is of 17 hours and can last up to 25 days in standby! Almost everyone that bought Galaxy Note confirmed its great performance. There are those who got a problem with the sudden disappearance of its audio while the player kept on playing and even if there’s somebody calling there’s no alert sound or ring tone but there’s vibration only to indicate it’s ringing. A few people said that the battery drained extremely fast and emptied very fast which never happened before it was upgraded.
Some people said that they could not open files with Galaxy Note. It is good to note that a lot of users confirmed that Galaxy Note is the best thing that happened to them. They never get bored with it because it is powerful, useful to the core and very practical. This is a lovely phone with a lovely display and a fast processor for them. Generally, they liked the keyboard that includes numbers which is so great because they have it as nuisance to keep toggling back and forth from alpha to numeric on other keyboards.
A peculiar thing to note is that when most of the users were shooting videos they have discovered a narrower field of view than that of the still camera. This explains that the camcorder uses only the centre of the 8MP sensor instead of shooting with the whole surface and then scale it down to 1080p. In 720p video capture mode they use the whole sensor and as a result they have got almost the same wide field of view as the still camera (about 30mm).
But for everyone a panoramic photo works great provided there’s enough light to take all the photos. Too many people commented that it’s more a larger phone than a tablet. It is not much bigger than an SG2 but much smaller than a Tab, its dimensions are 147 x 83 x 9.7 mm and weighs 178g. It looks big at first sight but when they get used to it they’d absolutely love it.
