   The Panasonic Lumix DMC TS3 is a waterproof digital camera that has a 4.6x, wide angle image stabilized zoom and 2.7 inch LCD.
   
   The battery of the Lumix DMC T53 needs an external charger. Even when connected to a computer via USB port, still the camera doesn’t charge. This means that the camera is not usable when its battery is being charged. It is advised to get another battery for more convenience.
   
   When it comes to the GPS, the TS3 doesn’t give the desired information like the country, state, city or the names of edifice or building, on the other hand, only the longitude and the latitude information are identified which is different from what is being advertised.
   
   The image quality of the Lumix DMC TS3 is remarkable. Almost everything that you desire to see on a picture is visible on the image output of this camera. The images are sharp, brilliant, detailed and colors are very natural. Whether you shoot indoors or outdoors, the image production of the TS3 is simply impressive. On the other hand, others find indoor photo shooting very discouraging. But generally, there are not too many complaints about it. Although this camera is not lightning fast when it comes to focusing, setting aperture or shutter speed, the fact remains the same that this camera can deliver well.
   
   Under too much sunlight, though, the sensor of the camera removes some parts of the image. This is the part that needs to be improved. Considering the position of the lens which isn’t at the center, you might always find your fingers in front of it.
   
   The waterproofing of the camera works pretty well. In case it gets sandy or muddy, you can just simply wash the sand or mud out. Not only for short time washing, but it can also be considered as an underwater camera. Given crystal clear water, the images are very impressive compared to other waterproof cameras. The Lumix DMC TS3 is for all seasons, too. During a strong weather, too hot or too cold, its performance doesn’t depreciate.
   
   This camera offers many modes and options that are more than enough to make your pictures of excellent caliber. Not only that, its durability is proven and can be your faithful buddy while you do snorkeling, climbing, rafting, snow boarding, diving and more. It is way ahead of other brands when it comes to underwater photography. Nevertheless, there were other users who experienced losing the camera due to waterproofing defects.
   
   With the use of the underwater mode, the photos would be way better than usual. Images that can be taken are brilliant, clear, razor-sharp and with striking colors. Even at 20 feet below sea level, the images are amazing. One drawback though is the LCD which becomes really blurry and almost futile since it is difficult to see anything in it. The only thing left to do is to estimate or try to feel if the subject is within the frame before making the shot.
   
   Overall, the Panasonic Lumix DMC TS3 is a product of advanced technology that aims to master underwater photography. It has achieved so many success stories and hopefully would become more sophisticated in the future. It is a great value for money and it is recommendable.
