   The Olympus XZ-1 has been a keen observer for the passed years trying to get a niche launched. Intently studying the angles to take control and conquer. Those years of serious business is the result of this enthusiastically created compact lens that has taken the competency of their rivals and integrated it into a surpassingly remarkable package.
   
   Prior to the launch of the XZ-1, it became abruptly perceivable that the Olympus hadn’t backed-down since its invisibility in the last few years. Featuring the wonderful specifications of the XZ-1 such as the ISO 100-6400, Built-in flash, ND Filter, Hotshoe and flash control, High Sensitivity 10 MP CCD sensor, Twin control dials, Fi.8-2.5 maximum aperture, and a 720p movie mode among others.
   
   The Olympus X-Z-1 has the looks of a classically assembled and deliberately assembled Digital Lens Camera that can surely conform to the discriminating taste of buyers. Add that up to its expert-worthy features which include a complete manual exposure mode, a wireless TTL flash control, an ability to capture raw imagery, a wide range of accessory compatibility namely the macro LED lights, an external microphone set and a detachable electronic viewfinder.
   
   Although the main attraction of the Olympus XZ-1 is its ultra-fast 28-112mm zoom lens, it still has to continually up its game for other rivalries are not too far behind. Also there can be encountered a bit of a problem with regards to the image quality of the XZ-1, for it seems to make quite a noise. So you have to get the right balance between the image clarity, the sharpness and the noise reduction. The amount of noise is a bit unbearable when it goes as low as ISO 400 but is perfectly fine above ISO 800. Good thing there’s always the luminance of the color that patches the noise it creates and deals with or removes the inappropriate color blotches. It also does not include a regular DSLR feature which is the viewfinder.
   
   But despite all that, you may find this digital camera, REAL spectacular. The Olympus XZ-1 is really not that bad. It actually isn’t bad at all. It raves as a record-breaker for the fast-action lenses it offers just with a single touch. That being said, the agility of this compact camera is utterly and completely awe-inspiring and brings forth easiness in the lifestyle of each and every Olympus DSLR beholder.
   
   The only difference the Olympus XZ-1 has from a full Digital Lense Camera (DSLR) is the caliber it has and the intricately more vast settings and features of the latter. However, majority of its configurations are similar. Therefore, the XZ-1 can be scarcely considered as a photographer’s ideal “training ground” for endeavors you to take one step at a time by learning basic yet advanced ways to use your very own DSLR in the near future.
   
   Though a point-and-shoot, the Olympus XZ-1 is deceivingly better than the DSLR for it is easier to manipulate and gives buyers a “carry me anywhere” appeal.
