   The GoPro Camera HD Hero 2 Outdoor Edition is a waterproof camera that is designed to support the user’s love for sports. It can be worn and gears can be mounted on it. It claims to be waterproof of up to 197’ or 60m.
   
   This Hero 2 Outdoor Edition also claims to be an immersive 170° wide-angle lens that has produced spectacular images which landed on magazine covers. The battery which is Lithium-Ion can be charged with the computer or with the car charger. After charging this could last for almost 3 hours. The Battery BacPac is an additional battery which is added to the back of the camera resulting to a longer battery life of around 5 hours. Unfortunately, there are complaints about the short battery life of not more than two hours. One more thing, this HD Hero 2 gets really hot. Children are not supposed to touch the camera while it is being used without a case. Wall chargers and car chargers are also being sold by GoPro.
   
   The HD Hero 2 user needs some familiarization on how to use it. But after that it would become effortless to use. It is also great even in low light settings. Compared to the original HD Hero, the HD Hero 2 is sharper, with clearer motion and faster shutter speed that lessens motion blur. It uses the standard SD card not the micro SD. The latter is easier to lose and a lot expensive.
   
   On the other hand, the HD Hero 2 underwater videos look extremely green, there’s a problem with the auto white balance. Sometimes it loses some colors and shows unnecessary lines in photos and videos. Maybe this one is defective. The LCD display is small and it’s hard to read especially under the sunlight. When changing the battery, the date and time need to be reset again and again.
   
   In summary, the GoPro Camera HD Hero 2 Outdoor Edition has gained some compliments and criticisms at the same time. Its being an underwater camera is being questioned many times. And the support needed in case of technical problems is not easily obtainable. Accessories are expensive that makes this camera not reasonably priced. If you need a camera like this, do an extensive research first before buying.
