    • The good:
Good Size, Comfortable Strap, 2 Watch Straps, Many Features
    • The bad:
Bezel Is A Bit Quirky, Short Battery Life
The Garmin Forerunner 410 is a GPS enabled Fitness Watch. It is both a timepiece and a sophisticated training companion for the most dedicated and professional runners. It can accurately record times, pace, distance, heart rate, elevation and much more. It provides a significant number of useful training features and data display is highly customizable. New to the Forerunner 410 is an enhanced touch bezel that allows runners to quickly scroll and select features while on the run and in all types of weather, and the ability to turn the watch completely off when not using it. Also the watch offers a soft strap for the heart rate monitor and two different watch bands which are Velcro and function like the early Garmin models, perhaps some runners prefer the tighter feel of a Velcro strap. With convenient features like remote data uploads, PC and Mac compatibility, lightning-fast satellite acquisition and Auto Pause, there is a lot to love about this relatively lightweight, midsized watch. The watch itself is easy to program, and there are literally dozens of data types you can customize for your different data screens; Heartrate, pace, speed, calories, elevation, heading, etc One function is the Virtual Partner. With virtual partner, you can set your past year's pace time and then (as you run the latest race) reference whether you are beating your old time and by what time and distance. Another great feature is the data upload and online training application. Whenever you get within 3 meters of your PC/ANT+ USB device, the watch automatically transfers your data and uploads it onto the Garmin Connect website. From there, you can instantly see your training records and track your improvements with each use Some users have concerns about the battery life., but the watch does a pretty good job with the battery power considering how much the watch is doing for you. Just check in on the battery power right after a run and charge it if it is low. Others have had concerns about the touch bezel, but compared to previous forerunners it is a little less sensitive to random taps like rainwater droplets. The Garmin Forerunner 410 is one of the most advanced devices of the Forerunner series and with the improved wristband with a Velcro zip closure and the soft chest strap for the heart rate monitor, this one is the most comfortable Forerunners yet.
