OP00590_068407 Original bulb inside Projector Lamp Module for EPSON EH-TW5900
Projecting images and videos to a large area is what a video projector does. If you want a full screen effect, then using a video projector is what you need. And the Epson EH-TW5900 fulfills that need.
If you think that there is nothing more to see and learn about video projectors as it is one of those devices that does a single thing only, it should be pointed out that the strengths of video projectors are how well the images can be bought up in terms of color and screen quality. Not all video projectors are the same and the Epson EH-TW5900 embodies that.
The Epson EH-TW5900 is a 1080p LCD projector that has nice visuals that really brings out the colors and lines of the images and videos with clarity and sharpness. The optics in the Epson EH-TW5900 is really good as stated; it helps bring out the focus of the images and videos being shown. There are no to little amounts of pixilation in the Epson EH-TW5900. However, some colors like black may sometimes appear not really black. When the scenes go dark, the black may look gray at times. This makes the contrast of the Epson EH-TW5900, is something that could not be fixed. Yet, the colors are generally still fine and in proper quality. Ambient light is also no problem with the Epson EH-TW5900 as there are lights on the background.
The Epson EH-TW5900 not only supports 1080p videos but can also handle 3D images and videos well too. And since the Epson EH-TW5900 uses LCD than the standard DLP, it draws little power to run the entire device. However, it does not project for a long distance as it has a certain range for you to use. LCD embedded video projectors are somewhat bulky and the Epson EH-TW5900 is no different. Since it is large and a bit bulky, space is an issue and that you may need to place it on top of a wide table or in a wall or ceiling.
The 3D function of the Epson EH-TW5900 really works. The images bought in 3D are amazing and that also has a lack of flickers. However, you need to use specific 3D glasses like the active shutter glasses made by Epson as there are no 3D glasses included with the Epson EH-TW5900. 3D works in the Epson EH-TW5900 yet you need to watch it in total darkness as the quality seems dimmer than other devices that use 3D technology.
This device due to its size has a large chassis that has a lot of ports featured into it. It features 2 HDMI ports, a USB port, audio stereo jacks and connections for VGA, S video, component and composite. All of these ports are placed in an orderly fashion at the back of the Epson EH-TW5900.
The Epson EH-TW5900 has a remote control that is also backlit and that it replicates the same buttons found and seen on the projector itself. The Epson EH-TW5900 also features a physical slider that you can use to adjust the keystone without losing quality. The Epson EH-TW5900 is a wonderful LCD projector that is powerful, bright and image great.
