Dyson DC34

Dyson DC34

Dyson DC34 Review

  • 4.0 / 5
    • The good:
More powerful than other handheld vacuum cleaners; Easy handling, emptying and cleaning; Does surprisingly well at cleaning carpets with its motorized brush accessory
    • The bad:
Expensive; Not exactly compact for a handheld model

If you are in search of a compact, cordless, easy-to-handle, efficient, and a quality vacuum cleaner, then there are few better options than the Dyson DC34. This durable-easy-to-handle vacuum cleaner is clearly a practical innovation in the mundane machine market.

It surprisingly cleans your carpets and the hard to reach nooks and corners of your house as well. It weighs about 2.92 lbs and the wattage requirement is about 30 watts. One of the striking features of the Dyson DC is its digital motor spin. The digital motor spins 15 times faster than a car engine and when turned on maximum, and it can run like that for up to 6 minutes. That makes it much more powerful than other handheld vacuum cleaners. Apart from rendering impressive spotless clean corners, it is comfortable to work with and the battery charge lasts up to 3 days once fully charged. The reason behind its spotless cleanliness is its extension wand which is 15.7 feet long and can reach great heights as well. There is no loss of suction and its hygienic bin emptying makes it more efficient than any other handheld vacuum cleaner in the market.

The bin indicates when it’s full, and because of this feature it can be emptied without any problem. Its lithium battery takes about 3.5 hours to be fully charged, discharges evenly, and counts with a LED indicator flashes when there is minimum power left. The filter is washable and is recommended to be washed at least once in a month. Its features are sleek and the accessories are designed in a way that they fit into the device very naturally, in a setup that is quite easy to understand. The Dyson DC34 is highly recommended for carpets, multi-surfaces and hard floors. It is accompanied by 3 kinds of attachments; Stair tool, Brush tool, and Crevice tool.

The overall response to the Dyson DC34 has been good, but the cost has been the deterring factor for the most part. Moreover, due to the absence of floor tool attachment like in the previous Dyson model, this doesn’t go beyond spot cleaning duties. It also limits the size of dirt particles one could think of cleaning. This unit comes with a 2 year warranty when registered on time and the company promises to replace if there is any pre-damage caused to the product or to any of its accessories.
