   DC24 is a Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner that is super light and compact which makes use of Root Cyclone and Ball technologies. The Root Cyclone technology spins the air at a very high speed without the need for bags or filters, sucks dust and dirt right into the clear bin. Typical vacuum cleaners have small holes that normally congest up with dust and hinder the suction process.
   
   With the Ball technology, gone were the days when you keep pushing your vacuum cleaner back and forth when doing the cleaning. The DC24 doesn't find it hard to go around appliances and other obstacles as you clean your house or rooms. Steering is easy, changing directions is fast and effortless at all times, saving the hands and arms from too much pressure. It can even go up and down the stairs fuss-free.
   
   The Dyson DC24 is equipped with an electric brush bar for removing hair and dirt from the carpet. The tough bristles on the brush bar spin 90 times per second for agitating carpets and successful removal of even the sticky and very tiny particles.
   
   DC24 uses 115 air watts unlike the DC25 which uses 220. It uses lesser power but the ability to clean is above par. It is lightweight, 11.6lbs and it is easy to clean. The filter is washable, so there's no need to buy for a replacement. Most importantly, it comes with a 5-year warranty for parts and labor. Although this cleaner is undeniably tough, there's peace of mind that you won't be buying for a new one in the next five years for technicians will be around to help.
   
   The drawback here is the hose. It is short and could hardly reach the ceilings without raising the base of the cleaner up. It is around 16ft in length which is just ok. But for high ceilings, this might be short. Another drawback is the use of the handle which would need some time to familiarize. A plus factor, though, is the availability of a switch to change the setting to carpeted or non-carpeted. The canister is clear to see if you need to empty it already, but it is small that you need to empty it many times. The good news is that it sucks a lot of dirt which other cleaners could hardly do well. Even old carpets that have accumulated particles in the past can be sucked up by the DC24 which would leave you amazed.
   
   Overall, the Dyson DC24 might be a little pricey compared to other vacuum cleaners, however, it is a powerful sucker that is lightweight, collapsible for easy storage, very comfortable to use and cleaning is effortless. It is worth every penny. Highly recommendable.
