Bose QuietComfort 15 Review
The Bose QuietComfort 15 is an acoustic noise cancelling headphone powered by triple A batteries. This headphone can be used with or without the music, in case, you just want to avoid external noises like loud music coming from your neighbor, engine noise from a train or car, noise from a nearby school or from a market near your place. The cushion around the ear helps lessen external noise and provides comfort, however, the skin collects sweat around the ear while the headphone is being used, and it is advised to remove it once in a while. The leather attached to the headset and the plastic strap make it light and comfortable to wear. On the other hand, the plastic strap can easily get broken. It could become brittle when placed in a little hot location, even if it is inside the case.
The sound of the Bose QuietComfort 15 is crisp and instruments are separately distinguishable. With this headphone, you won’t hear outside noises and people around you won’t hear what you hear. While the sound that you are listening to is clear to the highest degree. This sound is acoustic as the name says, not really heavy on bass. Triple A batteries are needed to operate this headphone, so there is a need to always bring with you fully charged ones or a charger to recharge them. A fully charged battery could last for 35 hours. The headphone comes with a slim but hard carrying case which is small but leaves room for an iPod and other accessories. An airplane adapter that fits in the airplane sockets is also included in the package.
The exterior of the Bose QC 15 looks long-lasting, solid and hi-tech. It also looks expensive and stylish. It is easy to clean and maintain. Pricey is the common description of the QuietComfort 15. But with its capacity to really eliminate unnecessary sound, the comfort that can be derived from this headphone plus the above average sound quality, it is definitely worth the price.
