   The Astone MP-310DT is the great upgrade from the Astone AP-360T PVR which features a firmware that is superior and more easy to use than its previous version. If you see it for the first time, you will notice how it does not look cheap at all. It is a quite decent device which has a great video quality for playback and is able to play any kind of files and formats. The quality of the audio also has the depth. It is compact although some say that it is quite clunky.

   
   

    

   
   

   This revolutionary media player is known for delivering the smoothest HD playback on the market as it is also supported by the optional Wireless-N capabilities through the external USB adapter. The MP-310DT is known for how easy it is to setup and use. Physically, it features the dual USB ports at the back, and it looks typically like a small metal box. It comes handy with the component video outputs, HDMI, YBbPr, as well as the Ethernet connector.

   
   

    

   
   

   The remote control, on the other hand is not the best as the buttons have very little space apart from each other. Sometimes it needs a positive press to register. On a lighter note though, it’s great that it is full-size. However, even if there is the availability of the Ethernet, it is configured in the default connection method and just has the basics when it comes to media streaming. Nonetheless, functionality wise, it is somewhat on the side for oddly heavily saturated players.

   
   

    

   
   

   One of the greatest advantages of having the Astone MP-310DT is the fact that it can play just about anything without any difficulty. The unit supports a myriad of formats and options. It does not need anymore those inconvenient moments wherein you still have to covert the file from one format to another in order to make it work.

   
   

    

   
   

   However, the bad side of it is that it can have moments wherein it encounters frequent need for rebooting as it has those sporadic freezing. Thus, misses most parts of the file you are recording. Nonetheless, considering the fact that it is utterly cheap, then phases such as that is not at all surprising.

   
   

    

   
   

   The dual tuner of the Astone MP-310DT is absolutely fantastic as it allows you to watch television programs and record it at the same time. Everything about it is quite on the basic side and there is really not a feature that stands out too much. That being said, this is not really much of a top-notch when it comes to devices in this category.

   
   

    

   
   

   This device is Wi-Fi ready within which you can play and surf the web as well as download videos and then watch them later. The Wi-Fi makes it possible to stream media directly from a home network or computer. Instant access to sites such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Yahoo messenger, and more are all allowed on the Astone MP-310DT. Nevertheless, the Astone MP-31-DT is wonderful as it is able to get upgraded and be used to get another device with a higher functionality if you ever get tired of it. Still, for its low price, the picture quality is pretty impressive.
