    • The good:
Very easy to use, sleek and stylish, good display and touchscreen interface, long-lasting batteries, excellent OS and fast processor, great for people constantly on the go!
    • The bad:
No camera or Flash support, multi-tasking is non-viable, switching between apps only, limited options for external output, mostly for entertainment purposes only, not for busy bees who demand more functionality on the go!
If you want an all-in one tech device that combines the functions of a netbook, e-reader, gaming console, iPod and even a photo frame, then the sleek iPad 16GB is enough to give any Apple lover a thrill. A touch-screen tablet computer, the iPad runs with the iPhone OS that successfully powers Apple’s other touch-screen devices like the iPhone and iPod Touch. Smaller and thinner than most netbooks and laptops, even skeptics can be swayed by innovative features such as a Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 10 hour-battery, optional 3G wireless, and downloadable applications that increase functionality and accessibility. Although some find its almost 8x10 inch size and weight to be awkward, it’s not much of a problem when you consider its portability and incredible ease of use. It's not really going to replace the laptop as a work beast, but it strives to come close! It can even be a word processor, music player and email-box apart from being a good recreational tool. Numerous compatible apps from the App Store can help streamline your everyday so that you can’t imagine life without your iPad 16GB. Apple doesn’t skimp on the aesthetics either and the iPad is a handsome glass- and aluminum-wrapped gadget. The screen is made of oleophobic-coated glass that’s easy to wipe clean of smudges and behind it, an LED-backlit touch-screen utilizing IPS technology for great viewing angles. However, as a first in its class, there are bound to be some disappointments. A glaring example is the iPad's lack of front or rear cameras. Given that it's got such a big screen for crystal clear graphics and a nifty interface, taking photos and videos along with an integrated HD video output should have been part of the package. There’s also no Flash support so unfortunately, many web pages do not load properly. Though it’s really more affordable than other tablet computers, it needs more than just a few tweaks before it can even hope to come close to laptops as an Apple devotee’s gadget of choice. Nevertheless, the iPad 16GB may still be good enough as an entry-level, multi-purpose gadget.
